Composition:
Basalt is  a very finely grained igneous rock  containing mainly plagioclase, amphibole and biotite material.Basalt also  has a  high content of  silicon oxide.
Characteristics:
- Basalt is 6 on Mohs’  scale.
- Basalt has minimal color variation,make it the perfect canvas for unique finishes.
- Ideally suited to use as tiles and pavers for high traffic areas.
